JULY MOOD

This month, I've been focusing a lot on chasing a classic, timeless summer aesthetic -- a sort of Americana. Part of that's inspired by my time at the lake and at camp, where I feel elements of the summer that are unchanging. I've been enormously focused on food in design as that's what a lot of my July has been centered around.

Colors: muted oranges, vivid blues, shocking reds

The sense of deep time brings a deep peace with it, a detachment from the timescale, the urgencies of daily life... a profound sense of being at home, a sort of companionship with the earth.
