JULY MOOD
This month, I've been focusing a lot on chasing a classic, timeless summer aesthetic -- a sort of Americana. Part of that's inspired by my time at the lake and at camp, where I feel elements of the summer that are unchanging. I've been enormously focused on food in design as that's what a lot of my July has been centered around.
Colors: muted oranges, vivid blues, shocking reds
“Nothing of me is original. I am the combined effort of everyone I’ve ever known.”
“We would be together and have our books and at night be warm in bed together with the windows open and the stars bright.”
“The sense of deep time brings a deep peace with it, a detachment from the timescale, the urgencies of daily life... a profound sense of being at home, a sort of companionship with the earth.”
